[ Upstream commit 2069624dac19d62c558bb6468fe03678553ab01d ] As noted elsewhere, various GPON SFP modules exhibit non-standard TX-fault behaviour. In the tested case, the Huawei MA5671A, when used in combination with a Marvell mv88e6085 switch, was found to persistently assert TX-fault, resulting in the module being disabled. This patch adds a quirk to ignore the SFP_F_TX_FAULT state, allowing the module to function. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
