[ Upstream commit 97c2c69e1926260c78c7f1c0b2c987934f1dc7a1 ] The number of queues implemented by many virtio backends is limited, especially some machines have a large number of CPUs. In this case, it is often impossible to allocate a separate queue for XDP_TX/XDP_REDIRECT, then xdp cannot be loaded to work, even xdp does not use the XDP_TX/XDP_REDIRECT. This patch allows XDP_TX/XDP_REDIRECT to run by reuse the existing SQ with __netif_tx_lock() hold when there are not enough queues. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
