commit c1ad35dd0548ce947d97aaf92f7f2f9a202951cf upstream. udf_write_fi() uses lengthOfImpUse of the entry it is writing to. However this field has not yet been initialized so it either contains completely bogus value or value from last directory entry at that place. In either case this is wrong and can lead to filesystem corruption or kernel crashes. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
