O_TMPFILE is actually __O_TMPFILE|O_DIRECTORY. This means that the old fast-path check for RESOLVE_CACHED would reject all users passing O_DIRECTORY with -EAGAIN, when in fact the intended test was to check for __O_TMPFILE. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
