commit fc2e426b1161761561624ebd43ce8c8d2fa058da upstream. When meeting ftrace trampolines in ORC unwinding, unwinder uses address of ftrace_{regs_}call address to find the ORC entry, which gets next frame at sp+176. If there is an IRQ hitting at sub $0xa8,%rsp, the next frame should be sp+8 instead of 176. It makes unwinder skip correct frame and throw warnings such as "wrong direction" or "can't access registers", etc, depending on the content of the incorrect frame address. By adding the base address ftrace_{regs_}caller with the offset *ip - ops->trampoline*, we can get the correct address to find the ORC entry. Also change "caller" to "tramp_addr" to make variable name conform to its content. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
