Introduce async DEVX obj query API to get the command response back to user space once it's ready without blocking when calling the firmware. The event's data includes a header with some meta data then the firmware output command data. The header includes: - The input 'wr_id' to let application recognizing the response. The input FD attribute is used to have the event data ready on. Downstream patches from this series will implement the file ops to let application read it. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
