Avoid trying to invalidate the TLB in the middle of performing an engine reset, as this may result in the reset timing out. Currently, the TLB invalidate is only serialised by its own mutex, forgoing the uncore lock, but we can take the uncore->lock as well to serialise the mmio access, thereby serialising with the GDRST. Tested on a NUC5i7RYB, BIOS RYBDWi35.86A.0380.2019.0517.1530 with i915 selftest/hangcheck. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
