The nd_region_probe_success() helper collides seed management with nvdimm->busy tracking. Given the 'busy' increment is handled internal to the nd_region driver 'probe' path move the decrement to the 'remove' path. With that cleanup the routine can be renamed to the more descriptive nd_region_advance_seeds(). The change is prompted by an incoming need to optionally advance the seeds on other events besides 'probe' success. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
