[ Upstream commit c069d2756c01ed36121fae6a42c14fdf1325c71d ] Only CS8 is supported but CSIZE was not sanitized to CS8. Set CSIZE correctly so that userspace knows the effective value. Incorrect CSIZE also results in miscalculation of the frame bits in tty_get_char_size() or in its predecessor where the roughly the same code is directly within uart_update_timeout(). Similarly, INPCK, PARMRK, and BRKINT are reported textually unsupported but were not cleared in termios c_iflag which is the machine-readable format. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
