From this opp notifier, cpufreq should listen to opp notification and do proper actions when receiving events of disable and voltage adjustment. One of the user for this opp notifier is MediaTek SVS. The MediaTek Smart Voltage Scaling (SVS) is a hardware which calculates suitable SVS bank voltages to OPP voltage table. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
