commit 10a3a3edc5b89a8cd095bc63495fb1e0f42047d9 upstream. A remount to a read-write filesystem is not safe when there's tree-log to be replayed. Files that could be opened until now might be affected by the changes in the tree-log. A regular mount is needed to replay the log so the filesystem presents the consistent view with the pending changes included. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
