[ Upstream commit 0707cfa5c3ef58effb143db9db6d6e20503f9dec ] Currently the check that a u32 variable i is >= 0 is always true because the unsigned variable will never be negative, causing the loop to run forever. Fix this by changing the pre-decrement check to a zero check on i followed by a decrement of i. Addresses-Coverity: ("Unsigned compared against 0") Fixes: 39cc539f90d0 ("driver core: platform: Prevent resouce overflow from causing infinite loops") Signed-off-by: Colin Ian King <colin.king@canonical.com> Reviewed-by: Rafael J. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
