Eight patches which looks like quite a large core change, but most of the diffstat is reverting the attempt to rejig reference counting introduced in the last merge window which caused issues with device and module removal. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
