The hardware conversion mode only exists in the AB8500 version of the chip, as it is lacking in the AB8505 it will not be in the device tree and we should just not even try to obtain it. The driver already contains code to avoid using a non-existing hardware conversion IRQ at conversion time. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
