If a card or a queue is in check-stop state, it can't be used by applications to perform crypto operations. Applications check the 'online' sysfs attribute to check if a card or queue is usable. Report a card or queue as offline in case it is in check-stop state. Furthermore, don't allow to set a card or queue online, if it is in check-stop state. This is similar to when the card or the queue is in deconfigured state, there it is also reported as being offline, and it can't be set online. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
