watchdog: st_lpc_wdt: Convert to use device managed functions
Use device managed functions to simplify error handling, reduce source code size, improve readability, and reduce the likelyhood of bugs. The conversion was done automatically with coccinelle using the following semantic patches. The semantic patches and the scripts used to generate this commit log are available at https://github.com/groeck/coccinelle-patches - Use devm_add_action_or_reset() for calls to clk_disable_unprepare - Introduce local variable 'struct device *dev' and use it instead of dereferencing it repeatedly - Use devm_watchdog_register_driver() to register watchdog device Cc: Patrice Chotard <patrice.chotard@st.com> Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Acked-by: Patrice Chotard <patrice.chotard@st.com> Signed-off-by: Wim Van Sebroeck <wim@linux-watchdog.org>

Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
