Recently, a patch has been submitted to "fix" the refcounting for a DT node in of_mdiobus_link_mdiodev(). This is not a leaked refcount. The refcount is passed to the new device. Sadly, coccicheck identifies this location as a leaked refcount, which means we're likely to keep getting patches to "fix" this. However, fixing this will cause breakage. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
