Set the page dirty if VM_WRITE is not set because in such case the pte won't be marked dirty and the page would be reclaimed without writepage (i.e. swapout in the shmem case). This was found by source review. Most apps (certainly including QEMU) only use UFFDIO_COPY on PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE mappings or the app can't modify the memory in the first place. This is for correctness and it could help the non cooperative use case to avoid unexpected data loss. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
