commit 44de022c4382541cebdd6de4465d1f4f465ff1dd upstream. Ext4_check_descriptors() was getting called before s_gdb_count was initialized. So for file systems w/o the meta_bg feature, allocation bitmaps could overlap the block group descriptors and ext4 wouldn't notice. For file systems with the meta_bg feature enabled, there was a fencepost error which would cause the ext4_check_descriptors() to incorrectly believe that the block allocation bitmap overlaps with the block group descriptor blocks, and it would reject the mount. Fix both of these problems. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
