A small set of fixes here, one core fix for error handling when we fail to set up the hardware before initiating a transfer and another one reverting a change in the core which broke Raspberry Pi in common use cases as part of some optimization work. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
