Rework the checks around kasan_unpoison_pages() call in post_alloc_hook(). The logical condition for calling this function is: - If a software KASAN mode is enabled, we need to mark shadow memory. - Otherwise, HW_TAGS KASAN is enabled, and it only makes sense to set tags if they haven't already been cleared by tag_clear_highpage(), which is indicated by init_tags. This patch concludes the changes for post_alloc_hook(). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
