wait_lapic_expire() call was moved above guest_enter_irqoff() because of its tracepoint, which violated the RCU extended quiescent state invoked by guest_enter_irqoff()[1][2]. This patch simply moves the tracepoint below guest_exit_irqoff() in vcpu_enter_guest(). Snapshot the delta before VM-Enter, but trace it after VM-Exit. This can help us to move wait_lapic_expire() just before vmentry in the later patch. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
