commit 550842cc60987b269e31b222283ade3e1b6c7fc8 upstream. After commit 0737e01de9c4 ("ocfs2: ocfs2_mount_volume does cleanup job before return error"), any procedure after ocfs2_dlm_init() fails will trigger crash when calling ocfs2_dlm_shutdown(). ie: On local mount mode, no dlm resource is initialized. If ocfs2_mount_volume() fails in ocfs2_find_slot(), error handling will call ocfs2_dlm_shutdown(), then does dlm resource cleanup job, which will trigger kernel crash. This solution should bypass uninitialized resources in ocfs2_dlm_shutdown(). Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
