commit a2f042430784d86eb2b7a6d2a869f552da30edba upstream. This patch fixes the following soft lockup: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 23s! [weston:307] On weston idle-timeout the IP is powered down and reset asserted. On weston resume we get a massive vblank IRQ storm due to the LDI registers having lost some state. This state loss is caused by ade_crtc_atomic_begin() not calling ade_ldi_set_mode(). With this patch applied resuming from Weston idle-timeout works well. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
