[ Upstream commit 013c1667cf78c1d847152f7116436d82dcab3db4 ] Require an explicit call to module_kallsyms_on_each_symbol to look for symbols in modules instead of the call from kallsyms_on_each_symbol, and acquire module_mutex inside of module_kallsyms_on_each_symbol instead of leaving that up to the caller. Note that this slightly changes the behavior for the livepatch code in that the symbols from vmlinux are not iterated anymore if objname is set, but that actually is the desired behavior in this case. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
