[ Upstream commit 9c29fd9bdf92900dc0cc5c2d8f58951a7bdc0f41 ] The hdmi routing mechanism used on g12a hdmi is also used: * other Amlogic SoC types * for the internal DAC path Each of these codec glues are slightly different but the idea behind it remains the same. This change extract some helper functions from the g12a-tohdmitx driver to make them available for other Amlogic codecs. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
