[ Upstream commit b2b80d9dd14cb5b70dc254bddbc4eea932694791 ] The wistron_btns driver calls rtc_cmos_read(), which isn't available with UML builds, so disable this driver on UML. Prevents this build error: ld: drivers/input/misc/wistron_btns.o: in function `poll_bios': wistron_btns.c:(.text+0x4be): undefined reference to `rtc_cmos_read' Fixes: 0bbadafdc49d ("um: allow disabling NO_IOMEM") # v5.14+ Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20221130161604.1879-1-rdunlap@infradead.org Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
