--in the initial design there was only a line for the active task and the user could choose if wants to show a second dot to indicate that this is a group of windows. This behavior was updated in order to take into account if the user has chosen to show only dots even for the active task.
About
Latte is a dock based on plasma frameworks that provides an elegant and intuitive experience for your tasks and plasmoids. It animates its contents by using parabolic zoom effect and trys to be there only when it is needed.
