Libvirt native C API and daemons
1f24f68225
In order to learn libvirt multiqueue several things must be done: 1) The '/dev/net/tun' device needs to be opened multiple times with IFF_MULTI_QUEUE flag passed to ioctl(fd, TUNSETIFF, &ifr); 2) Similarly, '/dev/vhost-net' must be opened as many times as in 1) in order to keep 1:1 ratio recommended by qemu and kernel folks. 3) The command line construction code needs to switch from 'fd=X' to 'fds=X:Y:...:Z' and from 'vhostfd=X' to 'vhostfds=X:Y:...:Z'. 4) The monitor handling code needs to learn to pass multiple FDs. |

LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
