Libvirt native C API and daemons

Although SRIOV network cards support setting a vlan tag on their virtual functions, and although setting this vlan tag via a <vlan> element in a domain's <interface> works, setting a vlan tag for these devices in a <network> definition, or in a network <portgroup> definition is also supposed to work (and the comment that validates <vlan> usage even says that!). However, the check to allow it only checked for an openvswitch network, so attempts to add <vlan> to a network of type='hostdev' would fail. |

LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
