added xmlByteConsumed() interface updated the benchmark rebuilt the docs

* doc/*: updated the benchmark rebuilt the docs
* python/tests/Makefile.am python/tests/indexes.py: added a

* include/libxml/encoding.h rngparser.c tree.c: small cleanups
