f2878a801c tests: use DIRECT io for zeroing whenver we can 
Performance with direct I/O here is noticable better,
so use it instead of buffered write whenever we can.

1095322901 thin: properly check for status for max sizes metadata 
When metadata LV size was over DM_THIN_MAX_METADATA_SIZE sectors,
the info() routine was incorrectly trying to match bigger size,
while we do never pass any bigger device.

Fixing a case, where lvs should be displaying status for metadata
LV with 16GB size.

76cc477fba tests: no warn if test does not need thin_repair 
Set LVM_TEST_THIN_REPAIR_CMD to /bin/false for test which
doesn't need it.

This way - even if on the system there is no such tool present,
test will not result with warning about missing tool.

Also remove from Makefile settings of TEST vars which are set in
through /lib/paths  - this also allows to override them in test.
