This is a followup patch to commit edb72cb70c
to support related lvm2 test suite tests.
A 'global/support_mirrored_mirror_log' bool configuration variable gets
introduced allowing the creation of, or conversion to mirrored 'mirror'
logs if set. The capability to create these in turn allows the rest of
the tests to perform activation of such existing LVs and their conversions
to disk/core 'mirror' logs.
Display a disclaimer warning if enabled that this is not for regular use.
Add definition of the enabled config option to respective test scripts.

Instead of using delayer device user 'zero' device and let mirror
do some real work which takes some time.
In case the test machine is too fast - mirror might need to be made bigger
to meet needed criteria.
Also move all test needed this 'zero' PV trick to the end of test
so $dev2 and $dev4 are covered with 'zero' and can take any amount of
write without consuming any real space.
Adjust to final target version 1.10.1 supporting reshape
properly and to recently changed report field specifications
(e.g. rehape_len_le) to allow these tests to run.
Lower mirror region size to suite the tiny test VG.
This is a new explicit version of 'lvconvert LV'
which has been an obscure way of triggering polling
to be restarted on an LV that was previously converted.
Add new logic to identify each unique operation and route
it to the correct function to perform it. The functions
that perform the conversions remain unchanged.
This new code checks every allowed combination of LV type
and requested operation, and for each valid combination
calls the function that performs that conversion.
The first stage of option validation which checks for
incompatible combinations of command line options, is done
done before process_each is called. This is unchanged.
(This new code will allow that first stage validation to
be simplified in a future commit.)
The second stage of checking options against the specific
LV type is done by this new code. For each valid combination
of operation + LV type, the new code calls an existing
function that implements it.
With this in place, the ad hoc checks for valid combinations
of LV types and operations can be removed from the existing
code in a future commit.
(The #if 0 is used to keep the patch clean, and the
disabled code will be removed by a following patch.)
Use delay_dev to slow down mirror sync so we could more
easily check for race and proper reject of parallel mirror
leg addition/reduction.
Also expose fail in mirror allocation of parallel leg.
Introduce LVM_TEST_LVMETAD_DEBUG_OPTS to allow to override
default debug opts for lvmetad.
However could be still overloaded on command line:
make check_lvmetad LVM_TEST_LVMETAD_DEBUG_OPTS="-l all"...
1) When converting from an x-way mirror/raid1 to a y-way mirror/raid1,
the default behaviour should be to stay the same segment type.
2) When converting from linear to mirror or raid1, the default behaviour
should honor the mirror_segtype_default.
3) When converting and the '--type' argument is specified, the '--type'
argument should be honored.
catch such conditions, but errors in the tests caused the issue to go
unnoticed. The code has been fixed to perform #2 properly, the tests
have been corrected to properly test for #2, and a few other tests
were changed to explicitly specify the '--type mirror' when necessary.
In those places where mirrors were being created while assuming
a default segment type of "mirror", we include the '--type mirror'
argument to explicitly set the segment type. This will preserve
the mirror testing that is performed even though the default
mirroring segment type is now "raid1".
If the user would upconvert a linear LV to a mirror without specifying
the segment type ("--type mirror" vs "--type raid1"), the "mirror"
segment type would be chosen without consulting the 'default_mirror_segtype'
setting in lvm.conf. This is now used as the basis for determining
which should be used if left unspecified.
When reformatting the 'lvchange_resync' code in commit
05131f5853, a '!' should have been removed
from the condition that checks for the LV_NOTSYNCED flag on a corelog
mirror LV. The presence of this '!' caused the LV_NOTSYNCED flag to be
cleared when it wasn't present and left when it was present.
It is not allowed to add images to a 'mirror' or 'raid1' LV if the
LV_NOTSYNCED flag is set. We add some up-convert tests to ensure this
behavior is being enforced and that the LV_NOTSYNCED flag is being
properly cleared by 'lvchange --resync'.
(Not updating WHATS_NEW because this is intrarelease.)
When mirrors are up-converted, a transient mirror layer is put in so that
only the new devices are sync'ed. That transient layer must carry the tags
of the original mirror LV, otherwise it will fail to activate when activation
is regulated by lvm.conf:activation/volume_list. The conversion would then
fail.
The fix is to do exactly the same thing that is being done for linear ->
mirror converting (lib/metadata/mirror.c:_init_mirror_log()). We copy the
tags temporarily for the new LV and remove them after the activation.

Reduce disc excercise for some test and focus on LVM testing by
using smaller extent size.
Reduce number of teardown_devs calls and use vg/lvremove instead.
Don't sleep for seconds on pvmove.
FIXME: shell/lvconvert-mirror-basic.sh seems to need more checking.
Test fails for smalled extent size then 512k.
