Joe Thornber a5bca5e240 o Removed old files
o  rewrote activate.c to use dev-manager, I'm sure these two will merge
   at some point.

o  Rename is broken ATM

o  dev-manager puts the calls through to fs.c for layers that have the
   'visible' flag set.
