From acc8059129b38d60c1b923670863137f8ec8f91a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Franck Bui Date: Thu, 1 Mar 2018 10:58:03 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] units: delegate "memory" instead of "cpu" by default for user instances (#8320) CPU accounting has a too bad impact on performance to be enabled by default. Therefore we should not delegate "cpu" for now. OTOH since commit e0c46a736412b79b94a21f8512a769b9212b9adf, memory accounting has been turned on for all units by default so it makes sense to delegate this controller by default. --- units/user@.service.in | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/units/user@.service.in b/units/user@.service.in index e8195acbb6e..372ffa56d36 100644 --- a/units/user@.service.in +++ b/units/user@.service.in @@ -18,6 +18,6 @@ Type=notify ExecStart=-@rootlibexecdir@/systemd --user Slice=user-%i.slice KillMode=mixed -Delegate=pids cpu +Delegate=pids memory TasksMax=infinity TimeoutStopSec=120s
