<title>Description</title>
<para><command>telinit</command> may be used to change
the SysV system runlevel. Since the concept of SysV
runlevels is obsolete the runlevel requests
will be transparently translated into systemd unit
activation requests.</para>

<para>The following options are understood:</para>
