Python3 no longer has a long type so the 'L' postfix is no
longer valid. Additionally in python2 an int that exceeds will
be transparently converted into a long when necessary

L for long literal is no longer valid in Python3, also
long keyword has been removed. int and long have been unified
in python3. A duplicated test has been removed (for long and
int) only the int test remains now.

On a busy system [e]poll() on the server will mark both the
old connection fd and also the listening fd as readable.
epoll() returns the events in order, so the server processes the
disconnect first.
With poll() we don't have an order of the events and the
server is likely to process the connect before the disconnect.

Fix segfault when connecting over TCP, the endpoints list in dummy_table
was not initialised this caused a segfault when attempting to connect
over TCP.
