bugs in various places whilst doing this (places that assumed
BOOL == int). I also need to fix the Samba4 pidl generation
(next checkin).

and make valgrindtest. Final step will be to change srvstr_get_path()
to return talloced memory in the major codepaths.
Jeremy.
(This used to be commit cf6b6f9c3a38b68d2671c753f412772344506742)
works from smbclient and Windows, and I am promising to
support and fix both client and server code moving forward.
Still need to test the RPC admin support but I haven't
changed that code.
Jeremy.
(This used to be commit 7a7862c01d07796ef206b255c676ad7dc2cc42fc)
the RESOLVE_DFSPATH macros and their varients
any more. Fix reporting profile bug with all
error returns.

(This used to be commit cdf0fdb1049fd68b46885cbea887dc0e595fa524)
* Remove "unknown" from dfs_Enum (samba4 dfs IDL updates to follow).
* When encountering an unsupported infolevel the rpc server must reply
with a dfs_info_0 structure and WERR_OK (observed from w2k3 when talking
to nt4).

(This used to be commit f9bef1f08f7d2a4c95c28329ac73e8646f033998)
the 2 BOOL flags in dfs_redirect() down to one since
they both are used in essentially the same context
(from what we can tell).
Tested Win98SE, WinXP sp 1 & 2, Win2k3 sp1, and WIn2k Sp4.
All dfs operations still seem to work.
(This used to be commit 59ffacf59c98f2f8277d76ec22712e438fd40618)
We did need the special case for RESOLVE_DFSPATH
in the findfirst() code.
Jeremy, please verify I haven't broken the allow_wcard
code you added to resolve_dfs_path()
(This used to be commit 29983398e2f7f1dc609d4d981e20f594918243bb)
cd up and down the tree and get directory listings.
Still have to figure out how to get a directory listing on a
2k dfs root. Also have to work out some issues with relative paths
that cross dfs mount points.
We're protected from the new code paths when connecting to
a non-dfs root share ( the flag from the tcon&X is stored
in the struct cli_state* )
(This used to be commit e57fd2c5f00de2b11a2b44374830e89a90bc0022)
by default in Samba 3.x
- got rid of some unused parameters in Makefile.in
- declare DEBUGLEVEL in debug.h rather than in each file
(This used to be commit b8651acb9c0d7248a6a2e82c33b1e43633fd83fd)
major changes include:
- added NSTATUS type
- added automatic mapping between dos and nt error codes
- changed all ERROR() calls to ERROR_DOS() and many to ERROR_NT()
these calls auto-translate to the client error code system
- got rid of the cached error code and the writebmpx code
We eventually will need to also:
- get rid of BOOL, so we don't lose error info
- replace all ERROR_DOS() calls with ERROR_NT() calls
but that is too much for one night
(This used to be commit 83d9896c1ea8be796192b51a4678c2a3b87f7518)
servers. Very intuitive.
Removed the dfs map parsing code and tdb maintenance code (files
msdfs/parse_dfs_map.c & msdfs/msdfs_tdb.c), dfs map loading and unloading
calls (param/loadparm.c smbd/server.c).
Added code to display msdfs format symlinks as directories in a
transact2_findfirst/findnext. (smbd/trans2.c)
Modified msdfs/msdfs.c to use the msdfs symlinks to
create dfs referrals.
Changed msdfs/README to reflect new operability.
(This used to be commit 6803d2574fab9e5931786d5c9aa5dc5867bb5f05)
and the printer functions.
Also tidied up some header includes and got the order right so you
can now do a :
make proto
make clean
make
