Activating <= and >= mdb indexing in samba for int32 and int64 attributes by:
1. Adding index_format_fn to LDB_SYNTAX_SAMBA_INT32 in ldb_samba
2. Cloning the 64bit LDB_SYNTAX_INTEGER type as LDB_SYNTAX_ORDERED_INTEGER
3. Adding index_format_fn to the new type
4. Modifying LargeInteger use the new type in samba schema

ldb_handler_copy and ldb_val_dup over allocate by one and add a trailing '\0'
to the data, to make them safe to use the C string functions on.
However testing for the trailing '\0' is not the correct way to test for
the end of a value, the length should be checked instead.

Check the operation type of the passed parse tree, and return
LDB_INAPPROPRIATE_MATCH if the operation is not LDB_OP_SUBSTRING.
A query of "attribute=*" gets parsed as LDB_OP_PRESENT, checking the
operation and failing ldb_wildcard_match should help prevent confusion
writing tests.

Initialise the created ldb_parse_tree with talloc_zero, this ensures

The length of the cookie is proportional to the number of DCs ever in
the domain (as it stores the uptodateness vector which has stale
invocationID).

No matter commit succeeded or failed, transation will be delete afterwards.
So there is no need to delete it here.
Aganst Samba this causes an `LDAP error 51 LDAP_BUSY` error when the transaction
fails, say while we try to add users to groups in large amount and
the original error is lost.
In Samba, the rootdse module fails early in the del part of the
start/end/del pattern, and in ldb_tdb and ldb_mdb a failed commit
always ends the transaction, even on failure.

ldb modules are not (yet) unloaded and are only loaded once (there is a check
that makes sure of this). Allocate off the NULL context. We never want this
to be freed until process shutdown. If eventually we add the ability to
unload ldb modules we can add a deregister function that walks and frees the list.

We must hold locks not just for the duration of each search, but for the whole search
as our module stack may make multiple search requests to build up the whole result.

ldb backends need to make sure they are not adding duplicate values to
multi-valued attributes in ADD and MODIFY operations. Until now they
have done this inefficiently using nested loops. Here we add common
functions that deal with large numbers of values in O(n log n) time,
but continue to use the simple methods for small numbers of values.
These functions take a struct ldb_context pointer and an options flag
arguments, although the ldb is not used, and only one bit of the
options has meaning. This is to allow further patches to switch on
schema-aware comparisons.
This entails an ABI jump to add the two new functions.

There is redudant test on NULL context in ldb_dn_new_fmt() function.
We use this (NULL) context in talloc_vasprintf() function which is
able to work with NULL at all. And at the end, we free this newly
created (by talloc_vasprintf) context. So it should be safe to remove
this check.

The error paths when a control doesn't parse involved a lot of
talloc_asprintf()s and talloc_asprintf_append()s but almost no actual
printf formatting. The return values were not checked. This replaces
them with constant strings.
The one case that did use formatting looked like this:
"invalid %s control syntax\n", LDB_CONTROL_DIRSYNC_EX_NAME
and that has been replaced with
"invalid dirsync_ex control syntax\n"
in line with the way it is done elsewhere.

ldb_base64_decode() returns -1 if a string can't be parsed as base64,
and this is not the kind of value you want to use in talloc_memdup().
In these cases it can happen innocently if the strings are truncated
to fit in their buffers.

The Samba control syntax limits the range of valid search terms for
VLV's gt_eq mode. To get around that, we allow base64 encoded strings
using the syntax 'base64>=Zm9vCg==' rather than '>=foo'.

When provided with non NULL list ldb_unpack_data_withlist will only
unpack attributes that are specified in the list (+ distinguished name)
ldb_unpack_data is changed to call ldb_unpack_data_withlist behind the
scene.

That is, memdup(), not strdup(). The terminators might not be there.
But, we have to make sure we put the terminator on, because we tend to
assume the terminator is there in other places.
Use talloc_set_name_const() on the resulting chunk so talloc_report()
remains unchanged.

ldb_dn_escape_internal() reports the number of bytes it copied, so
lets use that number, rather than using strlen() and hoping a zero got
in the right place.

Previously we relied on NUL terminated strings and jumped back and
forth between copying escaped bytes and memcpy()ing un-escaped chunks.
This simple version is easier to reason about and works with
unterminated strings. It may also be faster as it avoids reading the
string twice (first with strcspn, then with memcpy).

This allows to extend LDB by registering extended match rules from outside
the library itself. This is necessary when the implementation requires
knowledge about syntaxes implemented in samba extensions, like the
LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_TRANSITIVE_EVAL match.

I have hit this while using Python bindings for testing and
forgot to pass 'name' argument to MessageElement constructor
Passing NULL as 'name' is obviously a mistake and this commits
aims to warn about such unintetional mistakes.

We need a way to disable this in order to allow the
ldb_*ldap modules to work with a preloaded socket wrapper.
The only known user is the bind_dlz module,
but symbol versioniong might be enough...
So in future we may remove this completely
or at least invert the default behavior.
