If configured as AD DC and aio_pthread appended into 'vfs objects'[1],
run these commands would get segfault:
1. sudo samba-tool ntacl get .
2. sudo net vfs getntacl sysvol .
gdb said it goes through aio_pthread_openat_fn() @ vfs_aio_pthread.c[2],
and the fsp->conn->sconn->client is null (0x0).
'sconn->client' memory is allocated when a new connection is accpeted:
smbd_accept_connection > smbd_process > smbXsrv_client_create
While running local commands looks like it would not go through
smbXsrv_client_create so the 'client' is null, segfault might happen.
We should not dereference 'client->server_multi_channel_enabled',
if 'client' is null.

This prepares the later introduction of VFS_OPEN_HOW_RESOLVE_NO_SYMLINKS,
which will be used to make use of RESOLVE_NO_SYMLINKS on linux with openat2().
Right now all terminal VFS objects reject any resolve bits with ENOSYS.
So we only prepare the vfs layer for now without any real change.
But this will make backports to 4.17 much easier.

The Linux prototype for openat2 looks like this:
long openat2(int dirfd, const char *pathname,
struct open_how *how, size_t size);
where "struct open_how" is defined in "linux/openat2.h". It is
designed to be extensible with further flags.
The "size" parameter is required because there is no type checking
between userland and kernelspace, so the way for Linux to find which
version of open_how is being passed in is looking at the size:
"open_how" is expected to only every grow with additional fields,
should a change be necessary in the future.
Samba does not have this problem, we can typecheck the struct and
pointers, we expect all VFS modules to be compiled against the current
vfs.h.
For now this adds no functionality, but it will make further patches
much smaller.

In all places where we access or modify a file or it's associated metadata, we
use fsp_get_io_fd() to fetch the low-level fd from the fsp. This ensures we
don't accidentally use a pathref fsp where the fd would be opened as root on
systems lacking O_PATH.

opd->dname was only needed for debug messages, use opd->fsp_name for that. And
opd->fname can be just made a copy of smb_fname. This avoids calling

Allocate state off fsp->conn, not NULL, and add a destructor
that catches deallocation of conn which happens
on connection shutdown or force close.
Note - We don't allocate off fsp as the passed in
fsp will get freed once we return EINPROGRESS/NT_STATUS_MORE_PROCESSING_REQUIRED.
A new fsp pointer gets allocated on every re-run of the
open code path.
The destructor allows us to NULL out the saved conn struct pointer
when conn is deallocated so we know not to access deallocated memory.
This matches the async teardown code changes for bug #14301
in pread/pwrite/fsync vfs_default.c and vfs_glusterfs.c
state is still correctly deallocated in all code
paths so no memory leaks.
This allows us to safely complete when the openat()
returns and then return the error NT_STATUS_NETWORK_NAME_DELETED
to the client open request.

We will need this in future to cause a pending open to
be rescheduled after the connection struct we're using
has been shut down with an aio open in flight. This will
allow a correct error reply to an awaiting client.

According to Posix and the Linux open(2) manpage, the open-syscall can
return EINTR. If that happens, core smbd saw this as an indication
that aio_pthread's open function was doing its job. With a real EINTR
without aio_pthread this meant we ended up in a server_exit after 20
seconds, because there was nobody to do the retry.
EINTR is mapped to NT_STATUS_RETRY. Handle this by just retrying after
a second.

pthreadpool_tevent provides a much simpler api and avoids an extra
pipe for the completion notification.
This means we now have just one thread pool, that's shared for
all async pread, pwrite, fsync and openat() calls, instead of having
an extra pool for openat() with the same possible number of threads.

Not currently used - no logic changes inside.
This will make it possible to pass down a long-lived talloc
context from the loading function for modules to use instead
of having them internally all use talloc_autofree_context()
which is a hidden global.
Updated all known module interface numbers, and added a
WHATSNEW.

Removes accessor functions as now this parameter is set
under user control in smb.conf. Default is 100.
Note that this doesn't limit the number of outstanding
aio requests, it just causes them to go onto the
pthreadpool queue.
Now we need to prioritize pthreadpool pipe replies
ahead of incoming SMB2 requests, but that's a patch
for another day.

This fixes an incompatible pointer warning which uncovered
a real bug. This caller was missed when converting the function.
This fix is only temporary, since we use fsp->sconn->client->connections
which is supposed to be the start of the list of transport connections
by a given client treated by this smbd process. Currently there is only
one such connection, but with multi-channel there might be more. So
we will need to improve this in the future.
