MC_CMD_TRIGGER_INTERRUPT does not work on the SFC9140, as used in the
sfn7x42q and sfn7x24f.
Check for this using the MCDI workaround mechanism.
The command is only used during self test. If it's not supported, skip
the interrupt test.

On 32-bit systems, mask is only an array of 3 longs, not 4, so don't try

When using replicast a UDP bearer can have an arbitrary amount of
remote ip addresses associated with it. This means we cannot simply
add all remote ip addresses to an existing bearer data message as it
might fill the message, leaving us with a truncated message that we
can't safely resume. To handle this we introduce the new netlink
command TIPC_NL_UDP_GET_REMOTEIP. This command is intended to be
called when the bearer data message has the
TIPC_NLA_UDP_MULTI_REMOTEIP flag set, indicating there are more than
one remote ip (replicast).

Add UDP bearer options to netlink bearer get message. This is used by
the tipc user space tool to display UDP options.
The UDP bearer information is passed using either a sockaddr_in or
sockaddr_in6 structs. This means the user space receiver should
intermediately store the retrieved data in a large enough struct
(sockaddr_strage) before casting to the proper IP version type.

Automatically learn UDP remote IP addresses of communicating peers by
looking at the source IP address of incoming TIPC link configuration
messages (neighbor discovery).
This makes configuration slightly easier and removes the problematic
scenario where a node receives directly addressed neighbor discovery
messages sent using replicast which the node cannot "reply" to using
mutlicast, leaving the link FSM in a limbo state.

This patch introduces UDP replicast. A concept where we emulate

The purpose of replicast is mainly to be able to use TIPC in cloud
environments where IP multicast is disabled. Using replicas to unicast
multicast messages is costly as we have to copy each skb and send the
copies individually.

For DAX inodes we need to be careful to never have page cache pages in
the mapping->page_tree. This radix tree should be composed only of DAX
exceptional entries and zero pages.
ltp's readahead02 test was triggering a warning because we were trying
to insert a DAX exceptional entry but found that a page cache page had
already been inserted into the tree. This page was being inserted into
the radix tree in response to a readahead(2) call.
Readahead doesn't make sense for DAX inodes, but we don't want it to
report a failure either. Instead, we just return success and don't do
any work.

Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint

There are multiple issues here:
1) If we enter the function with a non-empty buffer, there is an attempt
to flush it. But it was not clearing m->from after doing so, which
means that if we try to do this flush twice in a row without any call
to traverse() in between, we are going to be reading from the wrong
place -- the splat above, fixed by this patch.
2) If there's a short write to userspace because of page faults, the
buffer may already contain multiple lines (i.e. pos has advanced by
more than 1), but we don't save the progress that was made so the
next call will output what we've already returned previously. Since
that is a much less serious issue (and I have a headache after

The current wording of the COMPACTION Kconfig help text doesn't
emphasise that disabling COMPACTION might cripple the page allocator
which relies on the compaction quite heavily for high order requests and
an unexpected OOM can happen with the lack of compaction. Make sure we
are vocal about that.

Commit 97f2645f358b ("tree-wide: replace config_enabled() with
IS_ENABLED()") mostly killed config_enabled(), but some new users have
appeared for v4.8-rc1. They are all used for a boolean option, so can

Commit bbeddf52adc1 ("printk: move braille console support into separate
braille.[ch] files") moved the parsing of braille-related options into
_braille_console_setup(), changing the type of variable str from char*
to char**. In this commit, memcmp(str, "brl,", 4) was correctly updated
to memcmp(*str, "brl,", 4) but not memcmp(str, "brl=", 4).
Update the code to make "brl=" option work again and replace memcmp()
with strncmp() to make the compiler able to detect such an issue.

While adding proper userfaultfd_wp support with bits in pagetable and
swap entry to avoid false positives WP userfaults through swap/fork/
KSM/etc, I've been adding a framework that mostly mirrors soft dirty.
So I noticed in one place I had to add uffd_wp support to the pagetables
that wasn't covered by soft_dirty and I think it should have.
Example: in the THP migration code migrate_misplaced_transhuge_page()
pmd_mkdirty is called unconditionally after mk_huge_pmd.

That sets soft dirty too (it's a false positive for soft dirty, the soft
dirty bit could be more finegrained and transfer the bit like uffd_wp
will do.. pmd/pte_uffd_wp() enforces the invariant that when it's set
pmd/pte_write is not set).
However in the THP split there's no unconditional pmd_mkdirty after
mk_huge_pmd and pte_swp_mksoft_dirty isn't called after the migration
entry is created. The code sets the dirty bit in the struct page
instead of setting it in the pagetable (which is fully equivalent as far
as the real dirty bit is concerned, as the whole point of pagetable bits
is to be eventually flushed out of to the page, but that is not
equivalent for the soft-dirty bit that gets lost in translation).
This was found by code review only and totally untested as I'm working
to actually replace soft dirty and I don't have time to test potential
soft dirty bugfixes as well :).
Transfer the soft_dirty from pmd to pte during THP splits.
This fix avoids losing the soft_dirty bit and avoids userland memory
corruption in the checkpoint.

We have scripts which write to certain fields on 3.18 kernels but this
seems to be failing on 4.4 kernels. An entry which we write to here is
xfrm_aevent_rseqth which is u32.

Commit 230633d109e3 ("kernel/sysctl.c: detect overflows when converting
to int") prevented writing to sysctl entries when integer overflow
occurs. However, this does not apply to unsigned integers.
Heinrich suggested that we introduce a new option to handle 64 bit
limits and set min as 0 and max as UINT_MAX. This might not work as it
leads to issues similar to __do_proc_doulongvec_minmax. Alternatively,
we would need to change the datatype of the entry to 64 bit.

Although sparse declares __builtin_bswap*(), it can't actually do
constant folding inside them (yet). As such, things like
switch (protocol) {

which we do all over the place cause sparse to warn that it expects a
constant instead of a function call.
Disable __HAVE_BUILTIN_BSWAP*__ if __CHECKER__ is defined to avoid this.

operations, delete all the redundant code that we had in bcm_sf2.c to
keep only the integration specific logic that we have to deal with:

MDIO).

The Broadcom Starfighter2 is almost entirely register compatible with
B53, yet for historical reasons came up first in the tree and is now
being updated to utilize b53_common.c to the fullest extent possible. A
few things need to be adjusted to allow that:
- the switch "core" registers currently operate on a 32-bit address,
whereas b53 passes a page + reg pair to offset from, so we need to
convert that, thankfully there is a generic formula to do that
- the link managemenent is not self contained with the B53/CORE register
set, but instead is in the SWITCH_REG block which is part of the
integration glue logic, so we keep that entirely custom here because
this really is part of the existing bcm_sf2 implementation
- there are additional power management constraints on the port's
memories that make us keep the port_enable/disable callbacks custom
for now, also, we support tagging whereas b53_common does not support
that yet
All the VLAN and bridge code is entirely identical though so, avoid
duplicating it. Other things will be migrated in the future like EEE and
possibly Wake-on-LAN.

In order to migrate the bcm_sf2 driver over to the b53 driver for most
VLAN/FDB/bridge operations, we need to add support for the "join all
VLANs" register and behavior which allows us to make a given port join
all VLANs and avoid setting specific VLAN entries when it is leaving the
bridge.

Instead of trapping certain packets to the CPU and then relying on it to
flood them we can instead make the device mirror them.
The following packet types are mirrored:
* DHCP: Broadcast packets that should be flooded by the device, but also
trapped in case CPU is running the DHCP server.
* IGMP query: Multicast packets that need to be forwarded to other
bridge ports, but also trapped so that receiving netdev will be marked
as a router port by the bridge driver.
* ARP request: Broadcast packets that should be forwarded to other
bridge ports, but also trapped in case requested IP is of the local
machine.
* ARP response: Unicast packets that should be forwarded by the bridge
but also trapped in case response is directed at us.
Set the trap action of such packets to mirror and mark them using
'offload_fwd_mark' to prevent the bridge driver from forwarding them
itself.
Note that OSPF packets are also marked despite their action being trap.
The reason for this is that the device traps such packets in the
pipeline after they were already flooded.

switchdev_port_fwd_mark_set() is used to set the 'offload_fwd_mark' of
port netdevs so that packets being flooded by the device won't be
flooded twice.
It works by assigning a unique identifier (the ifindex of the first
bridge port) to bridge ports sharing the same parent ID. This prevents
packets from being flooded twice by the same switch, but will flood
packets through bridge ports belonging to a different switch.
This method is problematic when stacked devices are taken into account,
such as VLANs. In such cases, a physical port netdev can have upper
devices being members in two different bridges, thus requiring two
different 'offload_fwd_mark's to be configured on the port netdev, which
is impossible.
The main problem is that packet and netdev marking is performed at the
physical netdev level, whereas flooding occurs between bridge ports,
which are not necessarily port netdevs.
Instead, packet and netdev marking should really be done in the bridge
driver with the switch driver only telling it which packets it already
forwarded. The bridge driver will mark such packets using the mark
assigned to the ingress bridge port and will prevent the packet from
being forwarded through any bridge port sharing the same mark (i.e.
having the same parent ID).
Remove the current switchdev 'offload_fwd_mark' implementation and
instead implement the proposed method. In addition, make rocker - the
sole user of the mark - use the proposed method.
