This binding file doesn't belong to the rtc seeing it's a pure timer
with no rtc facilities like days/months/years counting and alarms.
So move the YAML-file to the Documentation/devicetree/bindings/timer/
directory.

This arch_timer property was added in commit c950ca8c35ee
("clocksource/drivers/arch_timer: Workaround for Allwinner A64 timer instability")
but I omitted the device tree binding documentation. Now
`make dtbs_check` prints the following warning for all A64 boards:
timer: 'allwinner,erratum-unknown1' does not match any of the regexes: 'pinctrl-[0-9]+'
Resolve this by documenting the erratum property.

json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that
any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct
form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed
in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other
keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the
tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works.
This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this
treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax.
Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace
changes from the script.

Fix various inconsistencies in schema indentation. Most of these are
list indentation which should be 2 spaces more than the start of the
enclosing keyword. This doesn't matter functionally, but affects running
scripts which do transforms on the schema files.

Setting 'additionalProperties: false' is frequently omitted, but is
important in order to check that there aren't extra undocumented
properties in a binding.
Ideally, we'd just add this automatically and make this the default, but
there's some cases where it doesn't work. For example, if a common
schema is referenced, then properties in the common schema aren't part
of what's considered for 'additionalProperties'. Also, sometimes there
are bus specific properties such as 'spi-max-frequency' that go into
bus child nodes, but aren't defined in the child node's schema.
So let's stick with the json-schema defined default and add
'additionalProperties: false' where needed. This will be a continual
review comment and game of wack-a-mole.

On many arm64 qcom device trees, running `make dtbs_check` yells:
timer@17c20000: #size-cells:0:0: 1 was expected
It appears that someone was trying to assert the fact that sub-nodes
describing frames would never have a size that's more than 32-bits
big. That does indeed appear to be true for all cases I could find.
Currently many arm64 qcom device tree files have a #address-cells and
about in commit bede7d2dc8f3 ("arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: Increase
address and size cells for soc"). That means the only way we can
shrink them down is to use a non-empty ranges.
Since forever it has said in "writing-bindings.txt" to "DO use
non-empty 'ranges' to limit the size of child buses/devices". I guess
we should start listening to it.
I believe (but am not certain) that this also means that we should use
"ranges" to simplify the "reg" of our sub devices by specifying an
offset. Let's update the example in the bindings to make this
obvious.

recent removal of bootmem.
- Some fixes to atomics, in general providing compiler barriers for
smp_mb__{before,after}_atomic plus fixes specific to Loongson CPUs or
MIPS32 systems using cmpxchg64().
- Conversion to the new generic VDSO infrastructure courtesy of Vincenzo
Frascino.
- Removal of undefined behavior in set_io_port_base(), fixing the
behavior of some MIPS kernel configurations when built with recent
clang versions.

- A large overhaul of the posix CPU timer code which is a preparation
for moving the CPU timer expiry out into task work so it can be
properly accounted on the task/process.
An update to the bogus permission checks will come later during the

homebrewn caching of the leftmost node.

timer blocks on a per cpu base expiry lock which is held and
released by the (hr)timer expiry code.

The R-Car Gen3 SoCs so far come with a total for 4 on-chip CMT devices:
- CMT0
- CMT1
- CMT2
- CMT3
CMT0 includes two rather basic 32-bit timer channels. The rest of the on-chip
CMT devices support 48-bit counters and have 8 channels each.
Based on the data sheet information "CMT2/3 are exactly same as CMT1"
it seems that CMT2 and CMT3 now use the CMT1 compat string in the DTSI.
Clarify this in the DT binding documentation by describing R-Car Gen3 and
RZ/G2 CMT1 as "48-bit CMT devices".

This patch reworks the DT binding documentation for the 6-channel
48-bit CMTs known as CMT1 on r8a7740 and sh73a0.
After the update the same style of DT binding as the rest of the upstream
SoCs will now also be used by r8a7740 and sh73a0. The DT binding "cmt-48"
is removed from the DT binding documentation, however software support for
this deprecated binding will still remain in the CMT driver for some time.

Document the on-chip CMT devices included in r8a7740 and sh73a0.
Included in this patch is DT binding documentation for 32-bit CMTs
CMT0, CMT2, CMT3 and CMT4. They all contain a single channel and are
quite similar however some minor differences still exist:
- "Counter input clock" (clock input and on-device divider)
One example is that RCLK 1/1 is supported by CMT2, CMT3 and CMT4.
- "Wakeup request" (supported by CMT0 and CMT2)
Because of this one unique compat string per CMT device is selected.

The older Allwinner SoCs have a Timer supported in Linux, with a matching
Device Tree binding.
While the original binding only mentions one interrupt, the timer actually
has 6 of them.
Now that we have the DT validation in place, let's convert the device tree
bindings for that controller over to a YAML schemas.
