64e47d8afb net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw: Fix max mtu to fit ethernet frames
The value of AM65_CPSW_MAX_PACKET_SIZE represents the maximum length
of a received frame. This value is written to the register
AM65_CPSW_PORT_REG_RX_MAXLEN.

The maximum MTU configured on the network device should then leave
some room for the ethernet headers and frame check. Otherwise, if
the network interface is configured to its maximum mtu possible,
the frames will be larger than AM65_CPSW_MAX_PACKET_SIZE and will
get dropped as oversized.

The switch supports ethernet frame sizes between 64 and 2024 bytes
(including VLAN) as stated in the technical reference manual, so
define AM65_CPSW_MAX_PACKET_SIZE with that maximum size.

e4918f9d48 net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw: add sw tx/rx irq coalescing based on hrtimers
Add SW IRQ coalescing based on hrtimers for TX and RX data path which
can be enabled by ethtool commands:

- RX coalescing
  ethtool -C eth1 rx-usecs 50

- TX coalescing can be enabled per TX queue

  - by default enables coalesing for TX0
  ethtool -C eth1 tx-usecs 50
  - configure TX0
  ethtool -Q eth0 queue_mask 1 --coalesce tx-usecs 100
  - configure TX1
  ethtool -Q eth0 queue_mask 2 --coalesce tx-usecs 100
  - configure TX0 and TX1
  ethtool -Q eth0 queue_mask 3 --coalesce tx-usecs 100 --coalesce tx-usecs 100

  show configuration for TX0 and TX1:
  ethtool -Q eth0 queue_mask 3 --show-coalesce

Comparing to gro_flush_timeout and napi_defer_hard_irqs, this patch
allows to enable IRQ coalesing for RX path separately.

49a2eb9068 net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw-qos: Add Frame Preemption MAC Merge support
Add driver support for viewing / changing the MAC Merge sublayer
parameters and seeing the verification state machine's current state
via ethtool.

As hardware does not support interrupt notification for verification
events we resort to polling on link up. On link up we try a couple of
times for verification success and if unsuccessful then give up.

The Frame Preemption feature is described in the Technical Reference
Manual [1] in section:
	12.3.1.4.6.7 Intersperced Express Traffic (IET – P802.3br/D2.0)

Due to Silicon Errata i2208 [2] we set limit min IET fragment size to
124 (excluding 4 bytes mCRC).

bc8d62e16e net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw: add mqprio qdisc offload in channel mode
This patch adds MQPRIO Qdisc offload in full 'channel' mode which allows
not only setting up pri:tc mapping, but also configuring TX shapers
(rate-limiting) on external port FIFOs.

The MQPRIO Qdisc offload is expected to work with or without VLAN/priority
tagged packets.

The CPSW external Port FIFO has 8 Priority queues. The rate-limit can be
set for each of these priority queues. Which Priority queue a packet is
assigned to depends on PN_REG_TX_PRI_MAP register which maps header
priority to switch priority.

The header priority of a packet is assigned via the RX_PRI_MAP_REG which
maps packet priority to header priority.

The packet priority is either the VLAN priority (for VLAN tagged packets)
or the thread/channel offset.

For simplicity, we assign the same priority queue to all queues of a
Traffic Class so it can be rate-limited correctly.

Configuration example:

In the above example two ports share the same TX CPPI queue 0 for low
priority traffic. 3 traffic classes are defined for eth1 and mapped to:
TC0 - low priority, TX CPPI queue 0 -> ext Port 1 fifo0, no rate limit
TC1 - prio 2, TX CPPI queue 1 -> ext Port 1 fifo1, CIR=100Mbit/s, EIR=1Mbit/s
TC2 - prio 3, TX CPPI queue 2 -> ext Port 1 fifo2, CIR=200Mbit/s, EIR=2Mbit/s

We will use this Kconfig option to not only enable TAS/EST offload
but also other QoS features like Multiqueue priority descriptors
and MAC-Merge/Frame Preemption. TI_AM65_CPSW_QOS seems a more
appropriate Kconfig option name than TI_AM65_CPSW_TAS.

The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.

To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().

Replace the error path returning a non-zero value by an error message
and a comment that there is more to do. With that this patch results in
no change of behaviour in this driver apart from improving the error
message.

be397ea347 net: ethernet: am65-cpsw: Set default TX channels to maximum
am65-cpsw supports 8 TX hardware queues. Set this as default.

The rationale is that some am65-cpsw devices can have up to 4 ethernet
ports. If the number of TX channels have to be changed then all
interfaces have to be brought down and up as the old default of 1
TX channel is too restrictive for any mqprio/taprio usage.

Another reason for this change is to allow testing using
kselftest:net/forwarding:ethtool_mm.sh out of the box.

The rx_pause flag says that whether we support receiving Pause frames.
When a Pause frame is received TX is delayed for some time. This is TX
flow control. In the same manner tx_pause is actually RX flow control.

f30a51a418 net: ethernet: davinci_emac: Use MAC Address from Device Tree
Currently there is a device tree entry called "local-mac-address"
which can be filled by the bootloader or manually set.This is
useful when the user does not want to use the MAC address
programmed into the SoC.

Currently, the davinci_emac reads the MAC from the DT, copies
it from pdata->mac_addr to priv->mac_addr, then blindly overwrites
it by reading from registers in the SoC, and falls back to a
random MAC if it's still not valid.  This completely ignores any
MAC address in the device tree.

In order to use the local-mac-address, check to see if the contents
of priv->mac_addr are valid before falling back to reading from the
SoC when the MAC address is not valid.

389db4fd67 net: ti: icssg-prueth: Fix r30 CMDs bitmasks
The bitmasks for EMAC_PORT_DISABLE and EMAC_PORT_FORWARD r30 commands are
wrong in the driver.

Update the bitmasks of these commands to the correct ones as used by the
ICSSG firmware. These bitmasks are backwards compatible and work with
any ICSSG firmware version.

a602ee3176 net: ethernet: ti: Fix mixed module-builtin object
With CONFIG_TI_K3_AM65_CPSW_NUSS=y and CONFIG_TI_ICSSG_PRUETH=m,
k3-cppi-desc-pool.o is linked to a module and also to vmlinux even though
the expected CFLAGS are different between builtins and modules.

The build system is complaining about the following:

k3-cppi-desc-pool.o is added to multiple modules: icssg-prueth
ti-am65-cpsw-nuss

Introduce the new module, k3-cppi-desc-pool, to provide the common
functions to ti-am65-cpsw-nuss and icssg-prueth.

eb7fa2eb96 net: netcp: replace deprecated strncpy with strscpy
strncpy() is deprecated for use on NUL-terminated destination strings
[1] and as such we should prefer more robust and less ambiguous string
interfaces.

Considering the above, a suitable replacement is `strscpy` [2] due to
the fact that it guarantees NUL-termination on the destination buffer
without unnecessarily NUL-padding.

Other implementations of .*get_drvinfo also use strscpy so this patch
brings keystone_get_drvinfo() in line as well:

2c0d808f36 net: ti: icssg-prueth: Fix tx_total_bytes count
ICSSG HW stats on TX side considers 8 preamble bytes as data bytes. Due
to this the tx_bytes of ICSSG interface doesn't match the rx_bytes of the
link partner. There is no public errata available yet.

As a workaround to fix this, decrease tx_bytes by 8 bytes for every tx
frame.

f9a1d3216a dmaengine: ti: k3-udma-glue: clean up k3_udma_glue_tx_get_irq() return
The k3_udma_glue_tx_get_irq() function currently returns negative error
codes on error, zero on error and positive values for success.  This
complicates life for the callers who need to propagate the error code.
Also GCC will not warn about unsigned comparisons when you check:

	if (unsigned_irq <= 0)

All the callers have been fixed now but let's just make this easy going
forward.

231ea972cc net: ethernet: ti: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.
To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove().

Trivially convert these drivers from always returning zero in the remove
callback to the void returning variant.

0a205f0fe8 net: ti: icssg-prueth: Add support for half duplex operation
This patch adds support for half duplex operation at 10M and 100M link
speeds for AM654x/AM64x devices.
- Driver configures rand_seed, a random number, in DMEM HD_RAND_SEED_OFFSET
field, which will be used by firmware for Back off time calculation.
- Driver informs FW about half duplex link operation in DMEM
PORT_LINK_SPEED_OFFSET field by setting bit 7 for 10/100M HD.

Hence, the half duplex operation depends on board design the
"ti,half-duplex-capable" property has to be enabled for ICSS-G ports if HW
is capable to perform half duplex.

443a2367ba net: ti: icssg-prueth: am65x SR2.0 add 10M full duplex support
For AM65x SR2.0 it's required to enable IEP1 in raw 64bit mode which is
used by PRU FW to monitor the link and apply w/a for 10M link issue.
Note. No public errata available yet.

Without this w/a the PRU FW will stuck if link state changes under TX
traffic pressure.

Hence, add support for 10M full duplex for AM65x SR2.0:
 - add new IEP API to enable IEP, but without PTP support
 - add pdata quirk_10m_link_issue to enable 10M link issue w/a.

Add packet timestamping TS and PTP PHC clock support.

For AM65x and AM64x:
 - IEP1 is not used
 - IEP0 is configured in shadow mode with 1ms cycle and shared between
Linux and FW. It provides time and TS in number cycles, so special
conversation in ns is required.
 - IEP0 shared between PRUeth ports.
 - IEP0 supports PPS, periodic output.
 - IEP0 settime() and enabling PPS required FW interraction.
 - RX TS provided with each packet in CPPI5 descriptor.
 - TX TS returned through separate ICSSG hw queues for each port. TX TS
readiness is signaled by INTC IRQ. Only one packet at time can be requested
for TX TS.

90bc21aaef net: ethernet: ti: am65-cpsw: add mqprio qdisc offload in channel mode
This patch adds MQPRIO Qdisc offload in full 'channel' mode which allows
not only setting up pri:tc mapping, but also configuring TX shapers on
external port FIFOs. The K3 CPSW MQPRIO Qdisc offload is expected to work
with VLAN/priority tagged packets. Non-tagged packets have to be mapped
only to TC0.

- TX traffic classes must be rated starting from TC that has highest
priority and with no gaps
- Traffic classes are used starting from 0, that has highest priority
- min_rate defines Committed Information Rate (guaranteed)
- max_rate defines Excess Information Rate (non guaranteed) and offloaded
as (max_rate[i] - tcX_min_rate[i])
- VLAN/priority tagged packets mapped to TC0 will exit switch with VLAN tag
priority 0

The configuration example:
