The C_CAN/D_CAN cores implement 2 interfaces to manage the message objects. To avoid concurrency and the need for locking one interface is used in the TX path (IF_TX). While the other one, named IF_RX is used from NAPI context only. As this interface is not only used to manage RX, but also TX message objects, this patch renames IF_RX to IF_NAPI. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
