Unlike the Alice2 chips used on 1st generation E-MU cards, the Tina/Tina2 chips used on the 2nd gen cards have only six GPIN pins, which means that we need to use a smaller mask. Failure to do so would falsify the read data if the FPGA tried to raise an IRQ right at that moment. This wasn't a problem so far, as we didn't actually enable FPGA IRQs, but that's going to change soon. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
