b372fd2cff r14317: Use source/bin as dir to link pam_winbind instead of source/nsswitch/ 
The intention is to have the resulting binaries at one place.  This is
also usefull for upcoming changes to provide a test_pammodules rule.

With these changes I even got aware of
testsuite/nsswitch/pam_winbind_syms.exp  But this only covers
pam_winbind.

4f27b01298 Updating the Debian packaging stuff in packaging/Debian/. This hadn't 
been updated since the 3.0.0 release so it was broken for 3.0.1 and
later. It's nice that now the Makefile supports a $DESTDIR for "make
install" :-)

86cd0cd081 I think this will gracefully get around issues between different rpm 
versions.  Particularly the long standing problem with Net::LDAP

3aedaf6819 i know there is an specfile macro for determing the RPM version

988b1d8e5b Fix references to plain password registry files pointing at an old 
location.  These files are now in docs/Registry.  For some reason only
the PlainPassword files are included in the packaging, not some of the
other useful Samba related registry mods such as sign or seal and
terminal server.

I also removed the reference to checkinstall as it doesn't seem to
exist on the Solaris system in the build farm and I can't figure out
what it is supposed to do (always a good reason to delete something).

docs.solaris.com says "The checkinstall script is only available with
the Solaris(TM) 2.5 and compatible releases" so maybe this file is
obsolete.

Part of fix for bug 218.

9d4f9bda32 Had some environment problem to test the fix, so it would be really appreciated if packagers would be able to test their findsmb utility. 
This fix is to make findsmb aware that the space a valid NetBIOS name character and to not get only the first part of the name as the NetBIOS name if it contains spaces.
