904140fa45 dt-bindings: pinctrl: samsung: use Exynos7 fallbacks for newer wake-up controllers
Older ARM8 SoCs like Exynos5433, Exynos7 and Exynos7885 have the pin
controller with wake-up interrupts muxed, thus the wake-up interrupt
controller device node has interrupts property, while its pin banks
might not (because they are muxed by the wake-up controller).

Newer SoCs like Exynos850 and ExynosAutov9 do not used muxed wake-up
interrupts:
1. Wake-up interrupt controller device node has no interrupts,
2. Its pin banks have interrupts (since there is no muxing).

Their programming interface is however still compatible with Exynos7,
thus change the bindings to express this: retain compatibility with
Exynos7 and add new compatibility fallback of Exynos850 in newer
designs.

No driver changes are needed. This is necessary only to properly
describe DTS.

b833eb26b6 dt-bindings: pinctrl: samsung: add specific compatibles for existing SoC
Samsung Exynos SoC reuses several devices from older designs, thus
historically we kept the old (block's) compatible only. This works fine
and there is no bug here, however guidelines expressed in
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/writing-bindings.rst state that:
1. Compatibles should be specific.
2. We should add new compatibles in case of bugs or features.

Add compatibles specific to each SoC in front of all old-SoC-like
compatibles.

caf963efd4 dt-bindings: pinctrl: brcm: Ensure all child node properties are documented
The Broadcom pinctrl bindings are incomplete for child nodes as they are
missing 'unevaluatedProperties: false' to prevent unknown properties.
Fixing this reveals many warnings including having grandchild nodes in some
cases. Many cases in the examples use 'group' property which is
undocumented and not used by the driver. As the schemas define 'pins', I
assume that is the correct name except for the one case, 6358, using
'groups' which is documented.

DT core:
 - Add support for generating DT nodes for PCI devices. This is the
groundwork for applying overlays to PCI devices containing
   non-discoverable downstream devices.

 - DT unittest additions to check reverted changesets, to test for

 - Refactor node and property manipulation functions to better share code

 "DT core:

   - Add support for generating DT nodes for PCI devices. This is the
groundwork for applying overlays to PCI devices containing
     non-discoverable downstream devices.

   - DT unittest additions to check reverted changesets, to test for
refcount issues, and to test unresolved symbols. Also, various
clean-ups of the unittest along the way.

   - Refactor node and property manipulation functions to better share
code with old API and changeset API

   - Refactor changeset print functions to a common implementation

   - Move some platform_device specific functions into of_platform.c

  Bindings:

   - Treewide fixing of typos

   - Treewide clean-up of SPDX tags to use 'OR' consistently

   - Last chunk of dropping unnecessary quotes. With that, the check for
unnecessary quotes is enabled in yamllint.

   - Convert ftgmac100, zynqmp-genpd, pps-gpio, syna,rmi4, and qcom,ssbi

f2e83c19e0 dt-bindings: pinctrl: aspeed: Allow only defined pin mux node properties
The Aspeed pinctrl bindings are missing an additionalProperties/
unevaluatedProperties schemas on the child pin mux nodes which means any
undefined properties are allowed. In addition, using
'additionalProperties' for child nodes with any name works better than a
pattern matching everything with an if/then schema to select nodes only.

With 'additionalProperties' added, 'pins' and 'bias-disable'
properties need to be added as they were not defined. A $ref to
pinmux-node.yaml which defines the common property types was also
missing.

Update binding for yaml and remove the old related txt bindings. Note that
we are also adding the undocumented pinctrl-single,slew-rate property. And
we only use the first example from the old binding.

As we are mostly using a generic compatible across various SoCs, let's not
start adding matches for random pin group node naming. Let's standardize on
pin group node name ending in -pins with an optional instance number
suffix.

As a pin group may have additional pins added to it later on, let's always
use -pins rather than -pin for the gropu name.

Most of the dts files have been updated already for the pin group node
names with a few changes still pending.

Support for configuring these properties added in Xilinx ZynqMP Platform

driver checks if the configuration is supported by the PMUFW when it gets
request for TRISTATE configuration from pinctrl driver. If it supports,

a9025a5f16 ARM: New SoC support for 6.5
There are two new SoC families this time, and both appear fairly similar:
The Nuvoton MA35D1 and the STMicroelectronics STM32MP2 are both dual-core
Cortex-A35 based chips for the low-power industrial embedded market,
and they mark the first 64-bit product in a widely used family of 32-bit
 Arm MCUs and SoCs.

The way into the kernel is completely different here: The team at ST has
a long history of working upstream with their STM32MP1 and other SoCs,
and they produced a complete port to arm64 together with the initial
announcement. Nuvoton also has multiple SoC product lines with current
or previous upstream support, but those are maintained by third parties
and are unrelated. The patch series from Nuvoton's Jacky Huang had to
go through many revisisions to get to this point and is still missing
a few drivers including the serial port for the moment.

The branch contains the devicetree files as well as all the code changes,
in order to have something that can be tested standalone.
